• Why You Must Add Resistance Bands To Your Workout To Melt Fat and Increase Strength

    Fitness is so much fun because there really is so much that you can do to make your workouts fast and always changing.  This is one really good reason why you need a fitness journal and personal trainer so you can track what you’re doing and know exactly what to do as well. 

     Let’s add a new workout to your schedule, something fun and trackable so you can continue to get results… this workout is about using resistance bands.  These are a lot of fun to use and really bring a ton of great exercises to the table that you can use. 

     Because the resistance isn’t constant, you can really have some fun with these… slow your tempo down for intensity on static exercises, but then just immediately speed it up for faster action and new muscle growth with dynamic exercises.   All the while you are building lean muscle mass which is very important for weight loss and fat burning capabilities of your body. 

     Static exercises are something where you are concentrating of form like a squat or press.  You stay in place and you make the movement.  You want to increase your lean muscle, strength and endurance so it’s very important that you get rid of all momentum during the exercise move. 

     Then a dynamic exercise is going to be faster and more exciting because you’ll go consistently moving and concentrating on a length of movement rather than form per say.   Bands are great for dynamic exercises because they allow you to have a huge range of motion while also giving you the ability to move quickly with lower resistance levels.  It will force you to control your movements which will really activate your lean muscle plus these dynamic exercise routines will help you burn calories like crazy.

     You can also get very creative with the exercise plan and do things like throw punches while in a squat position, the options are limitless.   You can even make all sorts of interesting superset hybrids… for example do a squat to press to front raise punch, then back again.   It’s a great idea to get some resistance band workouts because they will really add a lot of fun and effective work to your workout plans.  Plus they are very inexpensive to purchase and you can use them in your home or the gym!
